INDIANAPOLIS — An 18-year-old and a 16-year-old have been arrested and charged with felonies following an Indy police investigation into a string of local armed robberies.
Noe Ulloa-Juavez, 18, and a 16-year-old male were arrested last week by Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department robbery detectives and have since been booked into Marion County Jail on several charges including felony armed robbery.
Several IMPD units, along with Beech Grove police and FBI teams, were investigating a string of robberies involving the teens when the arrests were made.
Last Thursday, Feb. 1, IMPD covert robbery detectives were called to the 4300 block of S. Emerson Avenue and upon arrival were told a business was robbed at gunpoint.
Soon after, IMPD SWAT teams found the alleged suspect vehicle with the two teens inside.
IMPD said detectives later searched Ulloa-Juavez’s house and found multiple pieces of evidence connecting the two suspects to multiple robberies.
