Arsenal duo Mohamed Elneny and Cedric Soares are available to leave the club during the January transfer window, football.london understands. The two players have entered the final six months of their contracts.
The Gunners could offload two fringe players in their squad as they continue to search for January deals. Elneny, who is currently away with Egypt at Africa Cup of Nations, has made four appearances this season upon returning to fitness, while Cedric has featured twice after falling down the pecking order.
Despite being on the periphery of Mikel Arteta’s squad, both players would be valuable additions to other European clubs. football.london understands that clubs in Turkey are monitoring both players, while Cedric has also attracted interest from sides in Spain.

Arsenal will hope to recoup transfer fees for both players but their contract situations may mean that the Gunners are open to agreements that would see the pair leave for free. Their combined wages are reported to be around £125,000-per-week and offloading those salaries could free up space for Arsenal to pursue new players.
The Gunners are yet to make a signing in the January window, despite calls for them to strengthen in attack. The team’s lack of ruthlessness in front of goal has seen the club slip down to fourth in the table, damaging their title hopes.
A number of strikers have already been touted with moves to the Emirates Stadium, including Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Getafe forward Borja Mayoral. However, reported top target Ivan Toney has insisted he intends to stay at Brentford.
In terms of outgoings, selling Elneny would see Arsenal bid farewell to the club’s current longest-serving player, having signed from Basel in January 2016. Cedric was another January signing, initially arriving on loan from Fulham in 2020, before joining permanently that summer.
