House of Lebanon of San Diego will host its annual dinner on Friday, April 12 at The Charcoal House Restaurant in La Mesa. The authentic Lebanese night will feature mezza appetizers and dinner along with performances from Lebanese singers Nidal Nasr and Danny Askhar. Micho’z Lebanese Grill will also offer an authentic saj, complimentary manoushe late night snack and Lebanese sweets from Dearborn, Michigan.
Tickets are $150 for a table seating and $125 for lounge seating.
According to Ghada Kadri, a Rancho Santa Fe resident and member of House of Lebanon, the group recently held their first community connections event at Greek Corner Cafe and it was sold out. “We brought people back to a Lebanese authentic night of what our parents and grandparents used to do with games of backgammon and cards,” she said.
Also upcoming next month on Monday, April 29, House of Lebanon will host an Arts, Culture and Music event at The Mingei International Museum in Balboa Park. The event will include performances from the House of Lebanon Choir led by Hamzeh Ramadan from 6:30-9:30 p.m. The $40 ticket includes dinner and drinks.
