A man has been arrested after he tried to flee from police and crashed into several other vehicles in Miami, officials said.
According to Miami-Dade Police, the suspect tried to flee as officers attempted to arrest him and he collided with several other cars along 103rd Street and 27th Avenue.
He then crashed into other vehicles on 118th Street and 27th Avenue and the car overturned.
Officials said the man was taken into custody and no police vehicles were involved in the accidents.
According to Louisville Metro Police just before noon on Sunday, officers were dispatched about a person down in the 800 block of Inverness Avenue.
When officers arrived they found a man dead from apparent injuries due to blunt force trauma.
During the initial investigation, LMPD found that the victim’s car was missing and an attempt was made to locate it, officials said.
The car was found in the Miami area and the man arrested is thought to be a person of interest in the case.
At this time, police have not released the identity of the suspect or and say it is too soon to name the man as a suspect in the Louisville death.
