CHICAGO — Comedy Central’s late night talk show “The Daily Show” is coming to Chicago this summer for the Democratic National Convention.
Led by returning host Jon Stewart, the satirical TV program will be filmed in Chicago during the Democratic National Convention, airing 11 p.m. Aug. 19-22. The show is continuing its tradition of hitting the road for political conventions, with plans to tape in Milwaukee in July for the Republican National Convention, according to Variety.
Venues and ticket information have yet to be announced.
Stewart is one of the many media and political personalities making their way to Chicago this summer.
The “Late Show” with Stephen Colbert will also be filming in Chicago for the convention, Colbert announced earlier this month. It’s set to air 11:35 p.m. Aug. 19-22 on CBS from the storied Auditorium Theatre, 50 E. Ida B. Wells Drive.
Alongside the “Late Show” announcement, Colbert said he’s excited to return to the city where he kicked off his comedy career. Learn more and sign up for ticket updates on the Auditorium Theatre’s website.
